Dilution & Directions
Light to Medium Stripping / Top Scrub
Dilute 12 oz. per gallon of cool water (1:10).
Heavy Stripping
Dilute 25 oz. per gallon of cool water (1:5).
- Sweep or dust mop the floor to remove loose debris.
- Apply the diluted solution liberally.
- Allow approximately 10 minutes of contact time, keeping the floor wet.
- Agitate using a low-speed rotary machine, automatic scrubber, or stripping machine with a maroon pad or equivalent.
- Recover the solution with a wet vacuum, autoscrubber, or mop and bucket.
- Thoroughly rinse the floor.
- Allow the floor to dry completely before applying a new finish or sealer.
For new or factory-finished floors, Betco recommends top scrubbing with Recover and a maroon pad to improve subsequent coating performance.
