Kling™ 9% HCl Thick Bowl Cleaner by Betco is a professional-strength, ready-to-use toilet bowl and urinal cleaner formulated with 9% hydrochloric acid. Its thickened formula clings to vertical surfaces, providing longer contact time to help quickly remove rust, scale, hard-water mineral deposits, and other stubborn restroom soils. 

The cleaner is especially useful for commercial and institutional restroom maintenance. Betco also identifies it for use on compatible ceramic tile floors, porcelain sinks, shower tile, sinks, bathtubs, shower stalls, and drinking fountains when diluted according to the label.

Directions for Use

For toilets and urinals, flush the fixture, open the pour spout approximately 45°, and squeeze the bottle to coat the surfaces beneath the bowl rim. Allow the product to remain for at least 10 minutes, scrub thoroughly with a bowl swab, particularly beneath the rim, and flush to rinse. 

For compatible sinks, bathtubs, shower stalls, drinking fountains, and ceramic tile floors, Betco's directions specify diluting one part cleaner with two parts water, wetting the surface thoroughly, allowing at least 10 minutes of contact time, then rinsing. 

Safety: Kling™ contains hydrochloric acid and is classified as causing severe skin burns and eye damage. Wear appropriate protective gloves, protective clothing, and eye/face protection, and follow the current product label and SDS. Never mix it with incompatible chemicals.
