Intensive Floor Treatment (I.F.T.) - 4 × 1 Gal. Round Gallon Case is a professional aggressive wood floor cleaner by Basic Coatings designed for deep, intensive cleaning of hardwood sports floors. Its powerful concentrated formula quickly removes ground-in dirt, body oils, shoe marks, black heel marks, ball scuffs, spilled beverages, grease, oils, and other stubborn soils.

I.F.T. is especially valuable as the first step in the TyKote® Dust-Free Refinishing System, helping prepare sports floors before applying a bonding agent or new water-based coating. Directions for Use

TyKote® System Procedure

1. Remove all dry soils, chewing gum, mud, and other debris from the floor and vacuum thoroughly.

2. Dilute I.F.T. according to the manufacturer's specified dilution. For the TyKote system, use 4 oz. per gallon of clean water.

3. Apply the solution using an automatic scrubber with blue scrub pads or mop it onto small sections of the floor.

4. Allow several minutes of dwell time.

5. Scrub using an automatic scrubber or low-speed floor machine.

6. Inspect the surface and repeat cleaning if additional scuffs or soils remain.

7. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

8. Allow the floor to dry completely before applying the TyKote® bonding agent.

Interim Deep Cleaning

For heavy soils and black marks, dilute 2 oz. per gallon of clean water and scrub using an appropriate white or red floor pad. Rinse with clean water or follow with a suitable wood floor maintenance cleaner according to label directions.
