Directions for Use

Restorative Maintenance

1. Completely remove existing wax, finish, and soil from the floor using an appropriate Betco floor stripper.

2. Rinse the floor with clean water if necessary.

3. Allow the floor to dry completely.

4. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of residue before applying Finish 101™.

5. Apply uniform thin-to-medium coats using a clean synthetic finish mop, microfiber mop, or suitable applicator system.

6. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly, typically 20–30 minutes, before applying the next coat.

7. Apply a minimum of 4 coats for restorative finishing.

8. For old, worn, or porous tile, applying 1–2 coats of a compatible Betco sealer first can enhance gloss and long-term performance.

Routine Maintenance

1. Sweep large debris and dust mop the floor.

2. Damp mop or automatically scrub using a suitable Betco floor cleaner.

3. Buff or burnish as needed to enhance gloss.

4. Use an appropriate Betco cleaner/restorer to condition the floor and extend the time between top scrubbing and recoating.

Interim Maintenance

1. Sweep large debris and dust mop.

2. Top scrub the floor using Daily Scrub SC with a maroon pad or equivalent.

3. Remove the soiled upper layers of finish.

4. Ensure the floor is clean, dry, and free of residue.

5. Apply 1–2 coats of Finish 101™ as directed above.
