Dilution & Directions
Light to Medium Stripping
Dilute 10 oz. per gallon of cold water (1:12).
Heavy Stripping
Dilute 25 oz. per gallon of cold water (1:5).
Application Process
- Sweep or dust mop the floor to remove loose debris.
- Apply the properly diluted Extreme® solution liberally.
- Allow 3–5 minutes of contact time.
- Keep the floor wet throughout the stripping process.
- Agitate using a low-speed rotary machine, automatic scrubber, or stripping machine.
- Recover the solution using a wet vacuum, automatic scrubber, or mop and bucket.
- Allow the floor to dry completely before applying new finish or sealer.
Betco notes that no flood rinsing is necessary when the surface appears free of dust and residue.
Important Surface Information
Extreme® is not recommended for linoleum or sheet vinyl floors. Betco recommends testing a small, inconspicuous area first because bleeding or discoloration may occur on linoleum, rubber tile, or asphalt tile.
