Directions for Use
Restorative Maintenance
Completely remove old wax, finish, and accumulated soil according to the recommended Betco stripping procedure. The floor must be clean, dry, and free of residue before application. Rinse with clean water if necessary.
Apply BetcoBest® LM in uniform, medium to medium-heavy coats using a clean synthetic finish mop, microfiber mop, or suitable applicator system. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying another coat, normally 20–30 minutes under standard conditions.
Betco recommends 2–3 coats for restorative maintenance. The product contains an opaque application indicator that becomes clear as the finish dries, helping operators identify when the surface is ready for subsequent coats.
Because BetcoBest® LM is self-sealing, a separate sealer is generally unnecessary. However, a Betco floor sealer may be used on old, worn, or porous tile when additional preparation is required.
Routine Maintenance
Sweep and dust mop regularly. Damp mop or automatically scrub using an appropriate Betco floor cleaner. Buff or burnish as needed to enhance gloss. Betco also recommends using Betco One Step High Speed Cleaner/Restorer to condition the floor and help extend the time between top-scrub and recoating procedures.
