Ax-It® Plus Floor Stripper – 5 Gal. Bag in Box is a professional very aggressive, no-rinse floor finish stripper by Betco, designed to quickly dissolve multiple layers of old floor finish, including difficult buildup caused by frequent high-speed burnishing and hard urethane-fortified finishes. It is formulated to remove finish in less time and with less effort while minimizing the need for neutralization.

Betco recommends Ax-It® Plus for removing water-based acrylic floor finishes from resilient tile and hard surfaces. It is not recommended for stripping linoleum or sheet-vinyl floors.

Dilution & Directions
For normal stripping, dilute 13 oz. per gallon of water (1:10).
For heavy stripping, dilute 25 oz. per gallon of water (1:5). Use warm-to-hot water, apply the solution liberally, and maintain a wet surface for at least 5 minutes. Agitate with a low-speed rotary machine, automatic scrubber, or stripping machine, then recover the solution.
After recovery, thoroughly rinse the floor and allow it to dry completely before applying new finish or sealer. Betco notes that flood rinsing is not necessary when the surface is free of dust and residue.
Important Surface Information
Always pre-test a small, inconspicuous area before full application. Betco warns that color bleeding or discoloration may occur on linoleum, rubber tile, or asphalt tile. Ax-It® Plus is not recommended for linoleum or sheet-vinyl floors.
Because Ax-It® Plus is a highly alkaline floor stripper, use appropriate protective equipment and follow the current product label and SDS for safe handling.
