Ax-It® Plus Floor Stripper – 4 × 1 Gal. Bottles is a professional very aggressive, no-rinse floor finish stripper by Betco, formulated to tackle difficult stripping jobs caused by frequent high-speed burnishing, hard urethane-fortified finishes, and excessive finish buildup. Its fast-acting chemistry cuts through multiple layers of floor finish with less effort and is designed to leave floors ready for recoating when used as directed.

Betco recommends Ax-It® Plus for removing water-based acrylic floor finishes from resilient tile and hard surfaces. It is not recommended for linoleum or sheet-vinyl floors.

Dilution & Directions
For normal stripping, dilute 13 oz. per gallon of water (1:10).
For heavy stripping, dilute 25 oz. per gallon of water (1:5). Use warm-to-hot water, apply the solution liberally, and keep the floor wet for a minimum of 5 minutes. Agitate using a low-speed rotary machine, automatic scrubber, or stripping machine, then recover the solution.
Allow the floor to dry completely before applying a new finish or sealer. Betco notes that flood rinsing is not necessary when the surface is free of dust and residue, although the directions also call for thoroughly rinsing the floor after solution recovery.
Important Surface Information
Always pre-test in a small, inconspicuous area. Color bleeding or discoloration may occur on linoleum, rubber tile, or asphalt tile, and Betco does not recommend Ax-It® Plus for linoleum or sheet-vinyl floors.
Ax-It® Plus is a highly alkaline stripper. Follow the current label and SDS and use appropriate protective equipment when handling the concentrated product. Betco identifies ingredients including potassium hydroxide, ethanolamine, and butoxyethanol in its ingredient disclosure.
