Direct Vacuum Pickup Along Hard Floors with a Squeegee Head
The American Floor Tool 14-inch Squeegee attachment provides a floor-level pickup head for a compatible vacuum setup. Its squeegee blades contact the surface while the connected vacuum draws material into the airflow path.
The compact floor head connects to a compatible 1.5-inch wand opening. Check the connected vacuum’s permitted pickup applications before using it for liquid recovery; adding a squeegee attachment does not convert a dry vacuum into a wet/dry machine.
This attachment gives the operator a different floor-contact arrangement from a brush-equipped tool. The black squeegee blades are the defining feature of the listed head. Choose this configuration when your established cleaning method calls for a squeegee-style vacuum attachment, and compare the pickup opening and wand connection with the tool already in use.
For facility teams maintaining several vacuums, keeping the attachment style matched to its machine helps prevent confusion during setup. Liquid collection requires a vacuum designed and configured for that purpose, regardless of the floor tool fitted. When assessing a replacement, inspect the blades, tool housing, and connection together. The replacement floor head is the right focused purchasing scope when the connected vacuum and wand remain serviceable and only the attachment needs replacement.
